About the Position
We’re seeking a strong, reliable, and experienced General Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting and enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor work.
You’ll spend about 60% of your time outdoors and 40% indoors supporting operations involving railcars, material handling, and product testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the pumping process for 8 railcars that come and go approximately four times per week
- Shovel and handle plastic resins in and out of railcars
- Operate a sit-down tow motor (forklift) to move materials safely and efficiently
- Use a computer system to approve tasks and enter data
- Perform sampling and testing of materials inside the facility
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in both hot and cold weather
- Must have BIG HANDS — this is a detail-oriented but physically demanding job
- Experienced, not entry-level — we need someone dependable who’s used to physical labor and industrial environments
- Tow motor (forklift) experience required
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
