Food Packing Machine Operator
Viking 8SG-200A Machine Operator – Garrettsville, OH
Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Viking 8SG-200A Machine Operator for a food production facility in Garrettsville, Ohio. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining the Viking bagging machine to ensure efficient and accurate packaging.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Friday
Pay
- $25.00 – $27.00 per hour depending on experience and skill level
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Viking 8SG-200A bagging machine during production
- Set up and adjust machine settings for different packaging sizes and products
- Load packaging materials such as film or bags into the machine
- Monitor product flow and ensure accurate filling and sealing
- Inspect finished packages for quality, weight accuracy, and proper seals
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report mechanical problems to maintenance
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area following food safety and GMP standards
- Record production counts and machine performance data
Qualifications
- Previous Viking bagging machine experience preferred
- Experience operating packaging machinery in a food production environment is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality
