Job Title: Machine Builder (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Cleveland, OH (Near 67th Place)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience

This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity located at a well-established Cleveland-based manufacturer of custom Environmental Test Chambers and Metal Finishing Equipment. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay & Benefits
Starting pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
Contract-to-hire path with pay raise upon permanent hire
After direct hire (30 days):

Job Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for assembling complex machinery from the ground up. This hands-on role involves:
Fitting and assembling components and subassemblies using blueprints and manuals
Performing drilling, fitting, and fastening operations using hand and power tools
Wiring electrical components to specification
Verifying alignment, tolerance, and clearances of moving parts
Running test procedures to ensure completed systems meet customer specs
Operating machines to shape and fabricate parts
Maintaining inventory of components and materials
Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
Required Qualifications
1 to 4 years of machine building experience
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices (calipers, gauges, tape measure)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work independently after training
Dependable work history and strong work ethic
