We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for a busy manufacturing facility producing industrial brush products used in commercial cleaning, food service, and street sweeping equipment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working around machinery in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and assist in operating extrusion production lines
- Fill hoppers with plastic pellet material
- Load and unload cylinders from machinery
- Perform minor trimming using hand tools and utility knives
- Use gauges and calipers to verify product measurements
- Maintain production logs and document quality information
- Package finished materials and prepare shipments
- Set up water tanks, pullers, and saws according to production needs
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on ability
- Comfortable using gauges, calipers, and measuring equipment
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. as needed
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
