Maintenance Technician – Industrial Equipment

? Pay Rate: $28.75/hour + shift differentials

About the Role:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment specializing in heat treatment, metal processing, and brazing for aerospace, automotive, and agricultural industries. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on 30+ pieces of industrial equipment, including furnaces and vacuums.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical (480v/3ph), hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance.
• Conduct daily meter readings and safety checks.
• Assist in moving and installing new plant equipment, including pipe fitting and welding.
• Work in confined spaces when repairing furnaces.

Qualifications:

✅ High school diploma or equivalent required.
✅ Strong mechanical knowledge with an industrial repair focus.
✅ Experience with instrumentation, electronics, pipe fitting, and temperature control is a plus.
✅ Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
✅ Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs in a large, warm, and loud plant environment.

Shifts & Compensation:

• Shift Differentials: $1/hr for 2nd shift, $1.10/hr for 3rd shift.
• Quarterly incentive bonuses based on plant profitability.
