Job Description
Company Overview:
Champion Personnel is currently seeking experienced Material Handlers for our client located in Aurora, Ohio. Our client designs and manufactures best-in-class power quality products including Static Transfer Switches, Power Distribution Units and Remote Power Panels.
Position Overview:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving material and product throughout the shop and shipping areas. Duties will include loading/unloading trucks, staging material, putting material into stock, and performing data entry into the company ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of sit down forklift
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Staging and palletizing product
- Maintain appropriate supply of materials needed for production
- Perform data entry
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of sit down forklift experience required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift 30lbs. regularly
- Basic PC skills for data entry/order logging
- Strong commitment to safety
Additional Details:
- Shifts available: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm M-F and 2nd 2pm to 12:30am M-Thurs
- Starting pay is based on experience
- Company offers 100% paid medical benefits
- Starting pay: $20 per hour
