Position Overview: General Laborer / Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)
Join a dynamic and established packaging company as a General Laborer/Warehouse Associate. This hands-on position supports various production and warehouse functions, including packing, material handling, and assisting on multiple production lines. This hands-on position supports various production and warehouse functions, including packing, material handling, and assisting on multiple production lines. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are seeking a long-term opportunity with union benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Use pallet jacks to stage materials and support production lines.
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping.
- Assist operators on lamination, folding/gluing, and die press machines.
- Feed materials into machines and stack finished boxes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
- Comfortable lifting 30–40 lbs and working in varying temperatures.
- Reliable, honest, and able to work independently.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Not attached to a cellphone during work hours.
- Able to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Must be okay with joining the Teamsters Union (dues required).
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay: $16 per hour
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
