Job Title: Production Supervisor – Precast Concrete Manufacturing

Position Overview
This role is a working Production Supervisor position within a precast concrete manufacturing facility serving projects across Northeast Ohio. The Supervisor plays a key role on the production floor—leading by example, coordinating daily workflow, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity ideal for someone who has experience in physical manufacturing environments and is ready to guide a small team while remaining actively involved in daily operations. The position offers long-term potential with performance-based growth.
Hours & Location
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid break
Worksite: Manufacturing facility in the Garfield Heights area
Most work is performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks as needed
Pay & Employment Path
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience and leadership background)
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a production team in daily precast concrete operations
Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production schedules are met
Set up, inspect, and prepare casting molds for production
Oversee concrete mixing, pouring, and distribution processes
Assist with material handling, staging, and movement of finished products
Coordinate the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes
Inspect finished products for quality and proper labeling
Enforce safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment
Train new team members and support cross-training efforts
Communicate production needs, issues, or delays to management
Required Qualifications
Prior experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment
Ability to lead by example in a physically demanding role
Comfortable performing hands-on labor throughout the shift
Strong understanding of safety practices and teamwork
Dependable attendance and ability to work independently once trained
Clear communication skills and a steady, respectful leadership style
Preferred Background
Supervisory or lead experience in concrete, construction, or heavy manufacturing
Familiarity with tools, measurements, material handling, or shop equipment
Experience training or mentoring employees on the production floor
Interest in long-term growth and increased responsibility
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Frequent lifting of 50+ lbs
Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Comfort working in a smaller, hands-on shop environment
