? Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

? Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience
About the Role
Are you meticulous and detail-oriented with a passion for quality work? This opportunity places you at the heart of a precision machining operation, where your expertise ensures that every part meets the highest standards before it reaches the customer. As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll take ownership of first article, in-process, and final inspections—working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure excellence every step of the way.
Job Responsibilities
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts
Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to check tight tolerances
Visually inspect parts and approve all finished products for shipment
Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Document inspection results and enter data into the quality tracking system
Collaborate with the Quality Manager to address and resolve any production discrepancies
Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
Required Qualifications
1.5 to 3 years of experience in quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using precision measurement tools and interpreting blueprints
Proficient in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
Solid grasp of basic shop math and computer skills (data entry experience preferred)
Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Familiarity with tight tolerance quality standards
Comfortable standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift

You’ll be working in a 20,000 sq. ft., well-lit and clean facility alongside a supportive team that values precision and professionalism. The shop uses multi-axis CNC lathes, mills, and grinding equipment to manufacture small and large runs of components such as bushings, pins, and shafts. This is a family-oriented company with decades of history and a strong reputation in the heavy-duty and mining industries.
This position is contract-to-hire, offering a structured path toward permanent employment. Once hired directly by the company, you’ll receive a raise and access to full benefits.
