Job Title: Quality Technician

Starting Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience and shift
Contract-to-hire opportunity
Pay increase upon hire, with additional raises at 1-year and 2-year milestones

Job Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on, detail-focused quality inspection role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties include:
Conducting first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on all parts produced
Reading and interpreting blueprints to confirm dimensions and tolerances
Using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
Collecting and documenting quality data for all inspected parts
Communicating with production supervisors and the quality manager
Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and internal standards
Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive measurement tasks
Entering inspection results into a computer system accurately
Required Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints proficiently
Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 40 lbs if necessary
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication
Must be fluent in English (reading and writing)
Must pass a measurement test during the interview process
