Champion Personnel is looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused Staffing Scheduler/Recruiter to join our Independence, Ohio branch. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building relationships, and love matching great people with great careers, we'd love to meet you.
This is a fully onsite position where no two days are the same. You'll play a vital role in recruiting, scheduling, onboarding, and supporting employees while partnering with local manufacturing and industrial clients.
What You'll Do
- Recruit candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
- Screen applicants through phone and in-person interviews
- Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring with clients
- Fill open job orders quickly while maintaining quality candidates
- Manage employee onboarding, paperwork, background checks, and drug screens
- Maintain regular communication with employees and clients
- Track attendance, call-offs, and scheduling changes
- Provide outstanding customer service to both clients and employees
- Keep applicant records accurate and up to date
- Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous recruiting, staffing, scheduling, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency
- Reliable, dependable, and professional
- High School Diploma or GED required
